Solomon Succession Excerpt from: The Way of Wealth Solomon Brings Stability
And so let's look at the Solomon mandate. What exactly is Solomon called to do? Solomon's mandate was to build the House of God. Along the way there was a whole lot more than that. But firstly Solomon's mandate was to put in place a permanent structure for the Body of Christ. You see, before Solomon the Tabernacle was not a permanent thing. It was a collapsible, portable structure that was moved from place to place. And every time the cloud would move they would have to move the Tabernacle. 48 Solomon brought a permanence. He brought a stability. He brought that original pattern that Moses introduced after having greatly enhanced it, and put it into a permanent place. The Solomon apostle will be putting together a final pattern which I believe will be the permanent pattern of the Body of Christ until Jesus comes in these last days in which we live. That is what the Solomon apostle is called to do.
A Big Picture
What is this final structure going to look like? It has been kept secret until now otherwise Satan would have put his nose in it and interfered with it. God has gradually been restoring His church and bringing her back to the pattern that we saw in the apostolic era in the early church. And now God is about to bring forth the final pattern of the end-times church, and He is finally beginning to raise up His Solomon apostles to bring it to pass. It is coming to pass, and if God has called you to be a Solomon, He is setting in place right now the finance that will be needed in order for you to complete this mandate.
It is going to take a lot of finance, because the Lord does not have a small vision! He doesn't have a vision for a local city. He does not have a vision for the local county. He doesn't have a vision for your local state or for your country. The Lord does not have a vision even for your continent. The Lord has a vision for the whole globe!
You say, "Well I'm sure we could raise enough money to evangelize our town."
You are not talking like a Solomon apostle. You are likely an evangelist or a local pastor, and that is probably all you will ever be. If God has called you to be a Solomon you can't talk small anymore. 54 You are not thinking, "Well it would really be great if we could get a channel on TV." You are thinking, "We're going to set up our own satellite and put other people on TV."
That is Solomon talking! You are not thinking small. You're thinking very big, because you know that the resources of this world belong to the Kingdom of God. They belong to the Children of God, not to the children of this world under Satan's control.
You say, "So, God has called you to be a Solomon? It is going to require a few qualifications along the way. You will have to have a Degree in Economics, at least an MBA. After all if you're going to run a business you are going to need to know something about how businesses are run."
Wisdom First
Well the man who was the wealthiest man who ever lived unfortunately did not have those qualifications so he had to have second best. He opted for the wisdom of God instead. You don't need what this world has to offer. I am not saying you cannot use it and make use of it. Solomon made use of the skill that was there and he called upon Hiram to send him the most skilled men that he had. Solomon tapped into what Hiram had and he bought the best. Then he added his own to it and he took the fullness of what was available, but Solomon did not have to rely on the wisdom of Hiram. He relied on the wisdom of God.
You need to rely on the wisdom of God, and the first qualification that you will need to be a Solomon apostle is this: You must not have an orientation towards money or fame. In fact, you mustn't even want any money. Money must mean nothing to you. Being famous must mean nothing to you. That sounds like a contradiction and you were probably not expecting that. God did not give this to Solomon until He had tested him.
He appeared to him in his dream and said, "Okay Solomon, you have three wishes."
That was Solomon's chance to jump in there. That was his chance to say, "Well okay, I would like the best. I want abundant wealth. I want to control the nations of this world."
No, Solomon had to pass that test of saying, "Look, money means nothing to me. Fame means nothing to me. I just want to minister to your people Lord. That's the only motivation I have. If you can just give me the wisdom to govern your people correctly the way you want me to do it, Lord I am available to you."
The Lord said, "Right answer! Now, because you have passed the test, here is what you are going to get - all of them!"
Now I want you to notice something interesting. God did not say to Solomon, "I'm giving you wisdom. And Solomon, now that I've given you wisdom you will be able to take that wisdom and you will be able to use it to become wealthy."
Did you notice God didn't say that to him. God said to him, "Solomon, because you asked for wisdom, you have it, but in addition to the wisdom I am going to...
